• Om Puri was the one who suggested Neha Dhupia for the lead in 'Delhii Heights' (2007). The director, Anand Kumar, had someone else in mind, but Om insisted she had the right energy for the role.
• On the set of 'Maharathi' (2008), Om Puri would deliberately flub his lines in the first take to make Neha Dhupia laugh and loosen up. She said it was his way of breaking the ice so she wouldn't be intimidated by his legendary status.
