Storyline

A young man burdened by debt tries to kill himself. He survives and is mistaken for a lucky charm. He decides to pretend to be deaf and mute to hide from his creditors. He takes a job as a servant in a rich family's home. There, he falls in love with the daughter, but his lie threatens everything.
