• Venu Madhav and Srikanth first teamed up for Kanchanamala Cable TV (2005) because the director, E. Satti Babu, wanted a comedy duo that could match the film's chaotic cable-TV setting. He paired them specifically after seeing their individual comic timing in separate films — no one else had thought to put them together before.
• In Maayajaalam (2006), Srikanth played the straight man to Venu Madhav's hyperactive sidekick. Srikanth later said in an interview that Venu Madhav's improvisations forced him to stay on his toes — he had to react in real time because Venu would change his dialogue delivery mid-scene.
• Sri Krishna 2006 (2006) was the highest-rated of their three films (7.8/10) and directly led to Venu Madhav getting more lead comedy roles in multi-starrers. Before this, he was mostly a supporting comedian; after Sri Krishna 2006, producers started casting him as a co-lead alongside heroes like Srikanth.
• During the shoot of Kanchanamala Cable TV, Venu Madhav and Srikanth shared a room in a small lodge near the set because the budget was tight. They reportedly stayed up late every night rewriting their scenes together, which is why their banter in that film feels so natural.
• Srikanth once said about Venu Madhav: 'He doesn't act — he just becomes the character. I had to work twice as hard to keep up with him in Maayajaalam.' He said this during a 2006 press meet for the film's release.
