• Ahuti Prasad and Harsha Vardhan were cast together in 'Varudu' (2010) because director Gunasekhar wanted two actors who could play contrasting father figures — Prasad as the calm, dignified father and Vardhan as the loud, aggressive one. They had never shared screen space before that film.
