• For 'Anbulla Rajinikanth' (1984), Jaishankar was the original choice for the villain role. But he agreed only if Raadhika played his on-screen wife — he felt she had the intensity to match his screen presence. The director gave in.
• In 'Kanni Theevu' (1981), Jaishankar deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in their confrontation scene so Raadhika could land her punchlines harder. She later said he taught her how to use silence as a weapon in a scene.
