Storyline
An honest clerk lives with his family. A corrupt politician moves nearby, and the clerk's wife starts copying the politician's lavish lifestyle by buying expensive things on credit. This pushes the clerk into debt and legal trouble, forcing him to eventually take a job with the politician's help.
