- During the shoot of Anbulla Rajinikanth (1984), Senthamarai would bring homemade snacks for the entire crew every single day. - The disastrous Naan Ungal Rasigan (1985) — rated 1/10 — was the last time they played mother and daughter on screen. The film's failure directly led to Senthamarai taking a two-year break from cinema. Raadhika personally called producers to vouch for Senthamarai's comeback in Oorkavalan (1987).
