• VTV Ganesh cast Vaibhav in 'Kappal' (2014) after seeing his comic timing in 'Soodhu Kavvum'. Ganesh later said he needed an actor who could look terrified and funny at the same time — Vaibhav's audition was just him screaming for two minutes straight.
• On the sets of 'Hello Naan Pei Pesuren' (2016), Vaibhav would deliberately flub his lines to make Ganesh laugh mid-take. Ganesh admitted that Vaibhav's improvisations saved the film's ghost comedy scenes — the director would just let the camera roll and let them riff.
