• For Aame (1994), Srikanth was a newcomer and Sudha was already a known face. The director picked Sudha first, then asked her opinion on the male lead. She suggested Srikanth after seeing his work in a small role — that recommendation got him the part.
• In Chala Bagundi (2000), Sudha’s comic timing forced Srikanth to speed up his delivery. He later admitted in an interview that she made him drop his 'hero' pauses and just react naturally — the film’s best banter scenes came from that push.
• After Aame flopped, Srikanth and Sudha didn’t speak for nearly a year. They patched up only when a common friend forced them to sit together at a dubbing studio. Chala Bagundi happened because of that awkward reunion.
• Kothala Rayudu (2022) was the first Telugu film to feature both actors as parents of grown-up children. That casting choice directly inspired two other Telugu family comedies in 2023 that paired veteran co-stars as on-screen couples with adult kids.
• Srikanth once said about Sudha: 'She doesn't act with you — she acts at you. If you're not ready, she'll eat you alive on screen. That's why I rehearsed twice as hard for Chala Bagundi.'
• On the sets of Kothala Rayudu, Sudha would deliberately flub a line in the first take to make Srikanth laugh. He’d then retaliate by improvising a silly gesture in the next take. The director kept those outtakes in the final cut — watch for the scene where she slaps his hand and he winks.
