• Keeravani was already a big name when he signed Varasudu (1993), but Srikanth was still finding his footing. The composer personally requested the director to cast Srikanth after hearing he was being considered — Keeravani felt Srikanth's voice and screen presence matched the songs he had already composed.
• On Pelli Sandidi (1995), Keeravani wrote the hit 'Emo Emo' specifically around Srikanth's limited but earnest singing range. Srikanth later said Keeravani would hum the tune slower on set so he could lip-sync naturally, then speed it up in the final mix.
• During the making of Pelli Sandadi (1997), Srikanth would visit Keeravani's recording studio unannounced just to listen to rough tracks. Keeravani once locked him out of the studio as a joke, and Srikanth sat outside for an hour before Keeravani let him in — they laughed about it for years.
• Srikanth once said in a 2015 interview: 'Keeravani garu made me feel like a singer even though I'm not one. He'd say, 'Don't worry about the note — worry about the feeling.' That's why our songs still work.'
• The song 'Mabbullo Lokam' from Pelli Sandadi (1997) was later sampled by a popular Telugu DJ in 2019 for a club remix, introducing Keeravani's melody and Srikanth's on-screen charm to a new generation who had never seen the original film.
