• Ramki and Vineetha first paired up in 'Chinna Madam' (1994) because the director saw their test shots together and realized they had a rare physical sync — both were tall, lean, and moved like dancers. The producer almost rejected Vineetha for being too fair-skinned for a village role; Ramki personally argued she could pull it off.
• In 'Ulavaali' (1994), Vineetha’s character had to cry in almost every scene. Ramki would deliberately mess up his lines before her close-ups to make her laugh and break the tension — then she’d nail the crying take immediately after. The crew called it their 'reset button'.
• During the shoot of 'Samrat' (1997), Ramki and Vineetha had a running bet: whoever flubbed a dialogue first had to buy the other a box of Mysore Pak from the local sweet shop. By the end of the film, Ramki owed her 14 boxes.
• Their third film 'Samrat' (1997) was the first Tamil movie to feature a fully choreographed underwater fight sequence. The director admitted he greenlit the idea only because Ramki and Vineetha had already proven they could hold their breath for over a minute during a river scene in 'Chinna Madam'.
• Vineetha once said in a 1998 interview: 'Ramki never treated me like a heroine. He treated me like a co-actor. That’s why I never felt nervous doing emotional scenes with him — he’d just nod at me before 'action' and I knew we were in it together.'
