• They first paired up in 'Aisa Pyaar Kahan' (1986) because Mithun specifically asked for Jayapradha. He had just seen her in a Telugu hit and told the director she was the only one who could play the role.
• In 'Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi' (1988), Mithun played a mute character. Jayapradha had to carry most of their dialogue scenes alone — she later said that acting opposite a silent Mithun forced her to sharpen her expressions and timing.
• During the shoot of 'Muddat' (1986), Jayapradha would cook Bengali food for Mithun on set every Sunday. He called it his 'home meal' and refused to eat from the catering on those days.
