• Before 'Company', Vivek Oberoi was a newcomer and Antara Mali was already known. Director Ram Gopal Varma paired them specifically because he wanted fresh faces who could bring raw, unpolished energy — he didn't want established stars who'd bring baggage.
• In 'Road' (2002), their characters are trapped in a car for most of the film. Vivek later said Antara's ability to switch between fear and fury in close-ups pushed him to match her intensity — he had to act with his eyes because the camera barely left their faces.
