• Arshad Warsi was not the first choice for Chocolate (2005). Anil Kapoor personally pushed for him after seeing his comic timing in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., convincing the director that Arshad could pull off the dark thriller's tricky tone.
• On the set of Pagalpanti (2019), Anil Kapoor would deliberately flub his lines in the first take to make Arshad laugh, then use that genuine reaction for the final cut. Arshad called it 'Anil bhai's secret weapon to keep me loose.'
