• G. V. Prakash Kumar didn't just act in 'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku' (2016) — he also composed the music. Rajendran later said in an interview that Prakash's double duty made him extra disciplined on set, because he couldn't afford to let the music side slip while acting.
• In 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' (2016), Rajendran played the comic sidekick to Prakash's lead. The trick was that Rajendran would deliberately over-deliver his lines in the first take, forcing Prakash to react genuinely — that surprise in Prakash's face is real, not scripted.
