He made his acting debut with Naveen's crime-comedy Moodar Koodam (2013) and went on to appear in notable productions including Kabali (2016) directed by Pa. Ranjith and starring Rajinikanth, Poriyaalan (2014), ThangaMagan (2015), and Enakkul Oruvan (2015). He is also recognized for his long-running role as Vishwanathan in the STAR Vijay television series Office, demonstrating his ability to move between film and television. Prior to acting, he directed two Tamil films — Naalai (2006) and Chakkara Viyugam (2008), a crime thriller set in Kolkata.
