Ghajini is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language psychological action thriller film directed by A. R. Murugadoss. It stars Aamir Khan, Asin, Jiah Khan, and Pradeep Rawat. The story follows Sanjay Singhania, a wealthy businessman who develops anterograde amnesia after a violent attack that kills his fiancée. He uses photographs, notes, and tattoos to remember his mission of revenge against the crime lord Ghajini. The film is a remake of Murugadoss's 2005 Tamil film of the same name. It became the first Bollywood film to cross ₹100 crore at the domestic box office and was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2008. Aamir Khan's physical transformation and intense performance were widely praised. The film was released on 25 December 2008.

Storyline
Sanjay Singhania is a successful businessman who loses his short-term memory after a brutal attack. He cannot remember anything for more than 15 minutes. He uses Polaroid photos, notes, and tattoos to hunt down the man who killed his fiancée. His only goal is revenge, but his own mind is his biggest enemy.
