Ajnabee(2001)
Ajnabee is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan. It stars Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kareena Kapoor, and Bipasha Basu in her debut role. The story follows a married couple in Switzerland who befriend their neighbors, leading to a web of betrayal, murder, and a frame-up. The film is an unofficial adaptation of the 1992 American thriller Consenting Adults. It received mixed reviews but was noted for Akshay Kumar's performance as the villain. Kumar won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role, and Basu won Best Female Debut. The film was a moderate commercial success, grossing ₹31.83 crore worldwide. Storyline
Raj and Priya are a happy couple living in Switzerland. They become close friends with their new neighbors, Vikram and Sonia. But Vikram has a dark plan. He wants to kill his wife and frame Raj for the murder. Raj must fight to prove his innocence and save his marriage.
