Chaahat(1996)
Chaahat is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic action thriller film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The cast includes Shah Rukh Khan, Pooja Bhatt, Naseeruddin Shah, Ramya Krishnan, and Anupam Kher. The story follows Roop Singh Rathod, a singer from Rajasthan who moves to Mumbai for his father's medical treatment. He falls in love with a nurse named Pooja, but a wealthy and obsessive woman named Reshma becomes dangerously infatuated with him. Her brother, Ajay Narang, uses his power and violence to trap Roop. Storyline
Roop Singh Rathod is a singer who moves to Mumbai to save his dying father. He falls in love with a nurse named Pooja. But a wealthy and spoiled woman named Reshma becomes obsessed with him. Her powerful brother, Ajay, will stop at nothing to make his sister happy. Roop must fight to protect his love and his family from their dangerous desire.
