Rangeela(1995)
Rangeela is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film written, directed and co-produced by Ram Gopal Varma. It stars Jackie Shroff, Aamir Khan and Urmila Matondkar in lead roles. The story follows Munna, a street-smart ticket black marketer, who is secretly in love with his childhood friend Mili, a middle-class girl aspiring to become a Bollywood actress. Their lives change when superstar Raj Kamal casts Mili in his new film, leading to a love triangle. The film is noted for its vibrant visuals, contemporary music by A. R. Rahman, and modern storytelling that broke away from conventional Bollywood tropes. It was a major box office success and received critical acclaim, winning seven Filmfare Awards including Best Supporting Actor for Shroff and Best Music Director for Rahman. Storyline
