Dil Aashna Hai is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language romance film directed and produced by Hema Malini. The cast includes Divya Bharti, Shah Rukh Khan, Jeetendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Dimple Kapadia, Amrita Singh, and Sonu Walia. The story follows Laila, a cabaret dancer raised in a brothel, who discovers she was adopted and searches for her biological mother. Her quest leads to three former college friends, each hiding a secret about her birth. The film is adapted from the TV miniseries Lace, based on Shirley Conran's novel. It was Shah Rukh Khan's first signed film, though Deewana released earlier. Divya Bharti's performance was praised as one of her best. The music was composed by Anand-Milind. The film released in 1992.

Storyline
