• Jeetendra personally recommended Amrita Singh for Khudgarz (1987) after the director struggled to find a leading lady who could match his mass-hero energy. She was barely 28, he was 45 — but she said yes because he promised she wouldn't just be a 'flowerpot'.
• In Tamacha (1988), Amrita Singh's character slaps Jeetendra's character mid-scene. She actually hit him hard enough to leave a red mark. Jeetendra laughed it off and told the director to keep the take — said it made the scene 'real'.
• On the sets of Mulzim (1988), Jeetendra would bring homemade sweets for the crew every Friday. Amrita Singh later admitted in an interview that she started looking forward to those Fridays more than the shoot itself.
• Rang (1993) was the only film where they played a married couple with a child. It was also the last time they worked together. After Rang flopped, neither ever publicly discussed doing another film — the pairing just quietly ended.
• Amrita Singh once said about Jeetendra: 'He was the only hero who never tried to upstage me. He'd actually step back in a frame so I'd get the close-up.' She said this in a 1993 Filmfare interview.
