Saugandh(1991)
Saugandh (1991) is a Hindi-language action film directed by Raj N. Sippy. It stars Akshay Kumar in his debut leading role and Shanthipriya in her Hindi debut. The story follows Ganga, a pregnant woman who swears revenge after her family is murdered by the proud landlord Sarang Singh. She raises her son Shiva to marry Sarang's daughter and force Sarang to bow his head. The film features a soundtrack by Laxmikant-Pyarelal with lyrics by Sameer and Anand Bakshi. Saugandh is known for its dramatic revenge plot and emotional family conflicts. It was released on 25 January 1991.

Storyline
A pregnant woman named Ganga watches her entire family get murdered by the arrogant landlord Sarang Singh. She makes a sacred oath: her unborn son will marry Sarang's daughter and force him to bow his head. Twenty years later, her son Shiva falls in love with a woman who turns out to be Sarang's daughter. The deadly promise threatens to destroy their love.
