Sanam Bewafa(1990)
Sanam Bewafa is a 1991 Hindi-language romantic drama film directed and produced by Saawan Kumar Tak. The film stars Salman Khan, Chandni, Pran, and Danny Denzongpa. Set among two feuding Pathan tribal families, the story follows Salman and Rukhsar, whose love is challenged by their families' generations-old hatred. The plot intensifies when a wedding-day insult leads to bloodshed and loss on both sides. The film is notable for its emotional depth and strong performances, particularly Danny Denzongpa's award-winning role. It was inspired by the Pakistani film Haq Mehar (1985). Sanam Bewafa was released on 11 January 1991 and became a major box office success.

Storyline
Salman, son of Sher Khan, falls in love with Rukhsar, daughter of his family's sworn enemy, Fateh Khan. Despite the deep hatred between their families, they marry. But a humiliating dowry demand on the wedding day triggers a cycle of revenge, violence, and heartbreak that threatens to destroy them both.
