Talvar(2015)
'Talvar' is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and written by Vishal Bhardwaj. It stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Neeraj Kabi. The film is loosely based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, in which a teenage girl and her family's servant were killed. The narrative presents three conflicting perspectives on the crime: the local police investigation, the first Central Bureau of Investigation probe, and a second CBI inquiry. Each version points to a different perpetrator, leaving the true killer ambiguous. The film was praised for its sharp writing, strong performances, and its use of the Rashomon effect. It won the National Film Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and the Filmfare Award for Best Editing. 'Talvar' was released on 2 October 2015 and is available on Netflix.
