Thuppakki is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss. It stars Vijay as Captain Jagadish Dhanapal, an Indian Army DIA specialist, alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jammwal, Sathyan, and Jayaram. The story follows Jagadish as he tracks down a terrorist sleeper cell planning twelve bomb attacks across Mumbai after witnessing a bus explosion. The film was produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V Creations, with cinematography by Santosh Sivan and music by Harris Jayaraj. It received mostly positive reviews for its smart action sequences and Vijay's performance, becoming a major commercial success with worldwide earnings of approximately ₹121 crore. Storyline
