Kathakali(2016)
Kathakali is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Pandiraj. It stars Vishal as Amudhan and Catherine Tresa as Meenu Kutty. The story follows Amudhan, who returns from the US to marry his girlfriend, but is framed for the murder of a local gangster named Thamba. As he tries to prove his innocence, he uncovers a web of corruption involving a ruthless police inspector. The film features music by Hiphop Tamizha and cinematography by Balasubramaniem. It received positive reviews for its tight narrative, raw action sequences, and Vishal's performance. The film won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Cinematographer. Storyline
Amudhan returns to his hometown to marry his love Meenu Kutty. But a local gangster named Thamba forces his way into the wedding. When Thamba is murdered, Amudhan becomes the prime suspect. He must clear his name while a corrupt police inspector hunts him down. But nothing is as it seems.
