Chinnappadass(1989)
Chinnappadass is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by C. V. Rajendran, his final directorial work. The film stars Sathyaraj in the title role and Radha in a dual role as Inspector Radha and Dr. Kavitha. The story follows a law professor who is forced into a smuggling gang after losing his job for fighting corrupt politicians. When a woman he loves commits suicide after a rape attempt, he fakes amnesia to infiltrate the criminal network and seek justice. The film is a remake of the 1987 Hindi film Insaaf. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack. The film was released on 28 July 1989.
