• For Kalyana Agathigal (1985), director R. C. Sakthi cast Nassar first, then specifically asked Kuyili to play the second lead. She was a newcomer, and Nassar — already a stage veteran — rehearsed every scene with her for two weeks before shooting began.
• In Kurumbu (2003), Nassar played a strict father while Kuyili played his wife. On set, Nassar would deliberately break character between takes to make Kuyili laugh — she said it helped her loosen up for the emotional scenes.
• Kuyili once said in an interview that Nassar was the only co-star who called her before every shoot to discuss the scene. They never had a single argument on set across all three films.
