
Siva(1989)
Siva is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Ameerjan. The film stars Rajinikanth, Raghuvaran, Shobana, and Sowcar Janaki. It is a remake of the 1977 Hindi film Khoon Pasina. The story follows two childhood friends, Siva and John, who are separated after a villain murders their families. Twenty years later, they are forced to fight each other before discovering the truth. The film features music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. It was produced by K. Balachander under Kavithalaya Productions. Siva received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. The film was a box office failure upon its release on 5 May 1989. It was later dubbed in Telugu as Tiger Siva.

Storyline
Two childhood friends, Siva and John, lose their families to a ruthless gangster. They are separated for twenty years. Siva becomes a vigilante called Tiger. John becomes a hired goon. The villain hires John to kill Siva. Neither knows they are best friends. They must fight before discovering the truth.
