Vettayadu Vilayadu(1989)
Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film stars Kamal Haasan as DCP Raghavan, alongside Jyothika, Prakash Raj, Daniel Balaji, and Salim Baig. The story follows Raghavan as he investigates a series of brutal murders committed by two serial killers with medical backgrounds. The investigation takes him from Chennai to New York and back to India. The film is notable for being one of the first Indian films shot using Super 35 technology. Kamal Haasan won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film was released on 25 August 2006 to positive reviews and became a box-office success.

Storyline
DCP Raghavan is a grieving police officer who lost his wife to gangsters. When his friend's daughter is murdered, he begins a hunt for the killers. The trail leads him to New York, where he discovers two doctors are responsible. He must stop them before they kill again.
