Nagam(1985)
Nagam (transl. Cobra) is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Chozha Rajan and written by Rama Narayanan. The film stars Ambika, Chandrasekhar, Radha Ravi, and Arjun Sarja. The story follows Janaki, a village woman who investigates a murder and uncovers a conspiracy involving trained cobras used by a wealthy landlord to eliminate his enemies. The film is noted for its suspenseful narrative and strong performance by Ambika in the lead role. It was released on 23 February 1985 under the production banner Thaenaandaal Films.

Storyline
A village woman named Janaki sees a cobra near her home one night. When a man is found dead soon after, she suspects it is not a simple snake bite. She begins investigating and discovers that a ruthless landlord is using trained cobras to murder his enemies. Now she must fight to save her family and bring the killer to justice.
