Pudhiyavan(1984)
Pudhiyavan is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language thriller-romance film directed by Ameerjan and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions. It stars Murali in a dual role as Manohar and Kishore, alongside Anitha, Raveendran, and N. Viswanathan. The story follows Manohar, an innocent man who becomes a fugitive after his identical lookalike, a ruthless killer, frames him for a series of murders. The film blends romance, action, and mistaken identity in a Madras setting. Critics noted the strong performances but found the latter half's murder plot convoluted. The soundtrack was composed by V. S. Narasimhan with lyrics by Vairamuthu. Pudhiyavan was released on 18 August 1984.

Storyline
