Soorakottai Singakutti is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Rama Narayanan and produced by AVM Productions. The film stars Prabhu as the vengeful son Selvam, Silk Smitha as the manipulative dancer Sokki, and Gemini Ganesan as the betrayed landlord Viswanathan. The story follows a young man who learns that a cunning dancer destroyed his family and sets out to punish her. The film features a supporting cast including C. R. Vijayakumari, V. K. Ramasamy, and Prameela. The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja with lyrics by Vaali. The film received mixed reviews and was a box office failure, partly due to audience resistance to Silk Smitha in a lead role. It was released on 9 September 1983.
