Rani Theni(1982)
Rani Theni is a 1982 Tamil-language drama film directed by G. N. Rangarajan. The film stars Mahalakshmi as Parvati, Deepan Chakravarthy as Selvam, and Sivachandran as the antagonist Sekhar. Kamal Haasan appears in an extended guest role as Miller. The story follows Parvati, an innocent woman who is tricked into a dark meeting by a playboy named Sekhar. She loses her fiancé and her honor. The film culminates in her revenge against Sekhar. Rani Theni is a remake of the Telugu film Kukka Katuku Cheppu Debba. Storyline
Parvati is an innocent woman engaged to Selvam. A playboy named Sekhar tricks her into meeting him in the dark. She thinks she is meeting Selvam. Sekhar seduces her twice. When the truth comes out, Selvam leaves her. Parvati must decide whether to break or take revenge.
