Madi Veetu Ezhai is a 1981 Tamil drama film directed by Amirtham and written by M. Karunanidhi. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role, alongside Sujatha and Sripriya. It is a remake of the Telugu film Yedanthasthula Meda. The story follows Paramanandham, a poor man who builds a business empire but neglects his family, and his son Mohan who repeats the same mistakes. The film explores the conflict between material wealth and family happiness. It was released on 22 August 1981. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Vaali. Storyline
