
Natchathiram(1980)
Natchathiram is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Sripriya in the lead role, with Hariprasath and Mohan Babu in supporting roles. The story follows a movie fan who discovers that a popular actress he admires is in grave danger from someone close to her. The film is a remake of the 1978 Telugu film Sivaranjani. It features an ensemble of guest appearances from legendary actors including Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising Sripriya's performance but noting the predictable plot. Natchathiram was released on 12 April 1980.
