Thirisoolam is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Vijayan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in triple roles, alongside K. R. Vijaya, Sripriya, Reena, and M. N. Nambiar. The story follows a businessman who accidentally kills a man and flees, leaving his pregnant wife behind. Years later, his twin sons must rescue him and their mother from his former criminal partners. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Shankar Guru (1978). It was promoted as Sivaji Ganesan's 200th film in a leading role. Thirisoolam was a silver jubilee hit and became the highest-grossing Tamil film at the time of its release. The film was released on 27 January 1979.

Storyline
A businessman accidentally kills a man and runs away from the police. He loses contact with his pregnant wife. Years later, his twin sons grow up separately. One son is honest and hardworking, the other is fun-loving. They must unite to rescue their parents from a gang of criminals who want a stolen temple necklace.
