Pilot Premnath(1978)
Pilot Premnath is a 1978 Tamil-language drama film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as the title character, with Sridevi, Malini Fonseka, Vijayakumar, and Jai Ganesh in supporting roles. The story follows a pilot who loses his wife in an accident and later discovers an unsent letter that reveals a hidden secret about her past. Shot entirely in Sri Lanka, it was the first Indo-Sri Lankan co-production in film history. The film received praise for its cinematography and M. S. Viswanathan's music, including the Baila song Azhagi Oruthi. It was released on 30 October 1978, on Diwali day.

Storyline
A pilot named Premnath is devastated when his wife dies in an accident. While grieving, he finds an unsent letter she wrote that reveals a secret from her past. As he struggles with the truth, his two sons fall in love with women he disapproves of. Premnath must choose between holding onto his anger or forgiving his wife and accepting his children's choices.
