Trivia
- The film's title 'Rajapattai' refers to a specific fighting stance in Tamil martial arts, which the hero uses in key action scenes.
- Director Suseenthiran originally planned a different actor for the lead role before Vikram came on board.
- Vikram performed many of his own stunts for the film, drawing from his experience in action movies.
- The movie's climax was shot in a specially constructed set designed to look like a large, traditional mansion.
- Despite being an action-comedy, the film includes social messages about land grabbing and corruption.
- The soundtrack by Yuvan Shankar Raja includes a folk-inspired song that became popular in rural areas.
- Rajapattai underperformed at the box office, which led to fewer promotions compared to Vikram's other films.
