Utthaman(1976)
'Utthaman' is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed and produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Manjula in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 1973 Hindi film 'Aa Gale Lag Jaa'. The story follows Gopi, a skating instructor, who marries a millionaire's daughter and is tricked into believing she regrets the marriage. He raises their son alone, only to discover the boy has polio. The film was praised for its acting, dialogues, and direction by critic Naagai Dharuman of Navamani. It was released on 25 June 1976.

Storyline
