Dharmam Enge(1972)
Dharmam Engey is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Jayalalithaa in lead roles, with M. N. Nambiar, Muthuraman, Nagesh, S. V. Ramadas, and Kumari Padmini in supporting roles. The story follows Rajasekaran, a flower seller who leads a rebellion against the tyrannical ruler Maarthaandan in a village. The film was shot at Thiruchopuram in Cuddalore and AVM Studios in Madras, and was colorised via Eastmancolor. Despite a soundtrack by M. S. Viswanathan and lyrics by Kannadasan, the film was a box office failure, with critics suggesting it would have better suited M. G. Ramachandran. It was released on 15 July 1972.
