Kulama Gunama is a 1971 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan and produced by M. Aazam. The cast includes Sivaji Ganesan, Jaishankar, Padmini, and Vanisri in lead roles. The story follows Chinnathambi, a respected village leader who opens a cooperative store to fight a greedy shopkeeper named Nambiar. The conflict escalates when Nambiar uses his daughter's marriage to Chinnathambi's brother to drive a wedge between the siblings. The film is a remake of the 1968 Telugu film Thalli Prema. Storyline
Chinnathambi is a good man who runs a cooperative store to stop a greedy shopkeeper from cheating the village. The shopkeeper's daughter marries Chinnathambi's brother, creating tension. When both women in the family give birth, a secret baby swap changes everything. Chinnathambi must fight to keep his family united.
