
Neerum Neruppum(1971)
Neerum Neruppum is a 1971 Indian Tamil-language swashbuckler film directed by P. Neelakantan. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran in a dual role as twin princes, alongside Jayalalithaa, R. S. Manohar, and Thengai Srinivasan. The plot follows twin brothers Manivannan and Karikalan who are separated at birth after their father is murdered. They share a supernatural bond that allows them to feel each other's emotions. The brothers reunite as adults to avenge their father's death and overthrow the usurper King Marthandan. The film is an adaptation of Alexandre Dumas's 1844 novella The Corsican Brothers. It was shot primarily at Gemini Studios in Chennai. The soundtrack features lyrics by Vaali and music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film was a commercial success and was later remade in Hindi as Gora Aur Kala.

Storyline
