Raman Ethanai Ramanadi is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language drama film produced and directed by P. Madhavan. It stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, and Muthuraman. The story follows a village bumpkin named Raman who rises to become a movie star to win his love, but his life changes after a traumatic incident. The film features a story within a story, re-enacting a play about the Maratha king Shivaji. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil and was a commercial success, running for over 100 days. The film was released on 15 August 1970.

Storyline
A poor village boy named Raman falls in love with Devaki, the sister of a rich zamindar. Humiliated by her brother, Raman vows to become wealthy and leaves for Madras. He becomes a famous movie star, but returns to find Devaki married to another man. His love turns into a lifelong sacrifice for her and her daughter.
