Adimai Penn (transl. Slave Woman) is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language historical action film directed by K. Shankar. It stars M. G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa in lead roles, with Ashokan, Pandari Bai, and Rajasree in supporting roles. The story follows Prince Vengaiyan, who is captured as a child and raised in a tiny cage by the tyrant Sengodan. After escaping, he is healed and trained by a woman named Jeeva, and he leads a rebellion to free his enslaved kingdom. The film was a major commercial success, running for over 175 days, and won the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Film. It was digitally restored and re-released in 2017.

Storyline
A cruel king enslaves an entire kingdom and imprisons the infant prince in a tiny cage. Years later, the prince escapes, broken in body and spirit. A kind woman nurses him back to health and teaches him to fight. Now, he must rise to defeat the tyrant and free his people.
