Uyirmel Asai(1967)
Uyirmel Asai is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by C. P. Jambulingham and produced by Ayyappan Productions. The film stars Jaishankar, L. Vijayalakshmi, and K. B. Sundarambal in lead roles. The story follows a poor father battling a deadly illness while struggling to support his family. His desperation leads him to make dangerous choices that threaten to destroy everything he loves. The screenplay was written by T. N. Balu with cinematography by Karnan. The music, composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu with lyrics by Kannadasan, features a notable lullaby performed by K. B. Sundarambal. Storyline
