
Enga Veettu Pillai(1965)
Enga Veettu Pillai is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language family drama film directed by Tapi Chanakya. It stars M. G. Ramachandran in a dual role as twin brothers, alongside B. Saroja Devi, S. V. Ranga Rao, M. N. Nambiar, Rathna, and Pandari Bai. The story follows two identical twins separated during a temple festival; one grows up as a cowardly rich heir while the other becomes a brave poor man. When they unknowingly swap places, it leads to confrontations with a greedy brother-in-law and a family reunion. The film was a silver jubilee hit and earned MGR his first Best Actor awards from two associations. It was released on Pongal day, 14 January 1965, by Emgeeyaar Pictures.

Storyline
Two twin brothers are separated as toddlers during a temple festival. One becomes a timid rich landlord controlled by his cruel brother-in-law. The other grows up poor but fearless. When the brave brother is mistaken for the timid one, he steps into a world of wealth and danger. The brothers must reunite to defeat greed and save their family.
