Iravum Pagalum(1965)
'Iravum Pagalum' is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by Joseph Thaliath Jr. The film stars Jaishankar in his acting debut and C. Vasantha in her first film role, with S. A. Ashokan, Nagesh, Gandhimathi, and Pandari Bai in supporting roles. The story follows Rajasekar, a college student whose house is robbed, but his mother prevents him from reporting it to the police. His investigation uncovers a dark family secret connected to the robbery. The film was produced on a low budget by Citadel Films and became a commercial success despite competing with major releases during the Pongal festival. It is notable for launching the career of Jaishankar, who later became a leading actor in Tamil cinema. The film was released on 14 January 1965.
