- Director Mehul Kumar would later achieve major commercial success with the iconic revenge drama 'Krantiveer' just a few years later in 1994.
- The movie features a soundtrack by composer Bappi Lahiri, known for his disco hits, but the songs did not become major chartbusters.
- Actor Raj Babbar, who plays the police officer, was a prominent figure in parallel cinema and his casting in this commercial action film was notable.
- The film's release coincided with a period where multi-starrer action dramas were popular, but it did not perform strongly at the box office.
- A key plot point involves the two rivals becoming friends, a narrative device less common in the typically straightforward revenge stories of the era.
